There are 1440 minutes in a day.

All you need is to find 30 minutes a day to get out and be active. You will have 1410 minutes left for everything and everyone else. It sounds so simple. How hard could it be to find 30 minutes for yourself? Well obviously it is very hard for most people. The number one excuse for not being active is lack of time. Nobody can manage time. You cannot find a day that has 25 hours in it. You cannot manage time, but you can manage yourself with respect to the time you have.

If you are unhappy with your present state of health and wish to changes by becoming more active, you have to get better organized. Day planners, books, etc. will help you get organized to a certain extent, but you need the intrinsic motivation to succeed. If you are happy with your current state of health, you will have a low desire to change. But, if you are convinced that becoming more active will lead to better health and a more productive life, your desire to change will be high.

So get out your day planner, palm pilot, blackberry etc. and make a half hour appointment with yourself. There will still be 1410 minutes for everyone else. You deserve it!
